Master Bedroom Spring Refresh
You’ve heard the saying “Your bedroom should be a sanctuary” but you also know that sanctuaries - whatever that be to you - cost money. I wanted to give our bedroom a little refresh without spending a fortune. We’d love new furniture but it isn’t in the cards right now so here’s how I made a few quick and budget-friendly changes to make the space feel entirely new.
Paint -
The first thing I did was get rid of our accent wall. We had the wall behind our bed painted a rich, dark green. It’s probably the prettiest green I’ve ever used but it made the space feel more narrow, dark, and small. Painting the accent wall white to match the rest of the room brightened everything up.

Bedding
Amazon 4-piece floral sheet set / Target Casaluna Quilt / Target Casaluna shams / Oversized pink pillows (with other color options) / Daisy pillow case / Pillow inserts / Flameless candles / Throw-King sized throw blanket / Philodendron heartleaf
I’m calling this bedding grandma-chic. I’m such a sucker for ditzy floral patterns and THIS Amazon sheet set caught my eye. I’ve never spent a lot of money on sheets because we typically don’t use a top sheet (is that weird?) and it’s just not something I’ve ever prioritized.
Decor
And just like that, this space feels entirely new!
Really what I’m trying to show is that you don’t need a lot to make a really great impact.
Some of my “must-haves”:
Best on-the-go water bottle dupe
Truly no-show socks for flats and other low-rise shoes or these with sneakers
The only hair ties that don’t leave bumps and my favorite hair brush
Best natural deodorant
Crazy lengthening mascara
Anthropologie-dupe bubble initial necklace
