Christmas Tree Art: A Memorable Christmas Craft
I’m really not the crafty type but anytime I’m allowed to capture the teeny tiny precious toes of my ones, I do. My only regret with this craft is not starting it sooner. How cute would it be to have a whole little gallery display of them?
Here’s what you’ll need —
If you already have crafty little ones running around your house, you may already have most of these materials.
Canvas boards - Find canvas boards at any of your local craft stores or paper could also suffice. I wanted to be sure that these would last.
Craft paint in a variety of colors
Little baby/toddler hands and toes!
After capturing their hand and foot prints, I wanted to jazz the trees up with some extras. Additional texture and dimension is always, always the way to go. After adding these extra layers, the tree felt much more like art.
Some of the extras that I added —
Photos using the mini polaroid camera
Wooden craft stars that the kids can paint
Metallic paint
Other ideas —
Extra ribbon and bows
PomPoms
Mini ornaments
I would love to know if you try these out with your littles! Send me a picture/message and let me know how they go.
